What does AWANA stand for?
AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.” It is based on a verse in the Bible, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15, NKJV).
What happens at Awana at Living Oaks?
We meet for snack supper on Sunday nights at 5pm, Opening Ceremony at 5:30pm, and then have groups for all ages. We dismiss from Closing Ceremony at 7pm. Your child will enjoy Bible lessons, verse memorization, fun games, singing, and more!
